WKHack LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) establishes this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) regarding the handling of user information and personal information in our software, including applications for iOS and Apple Watch, and our web services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information when providing the Service:

(1) Information provided directly by the user:

  • Contact information such as name and email address when making inquiries.
  • Profile information (username, icon image, theme color settings, etc.).
  • Data entered or created by the user within the Service (counter names, count logs, tags, etc.).

(2) Information regarding devices, systems, and usage environments:

  • Information to identify devices (e.g., randomly generated IDs).
  • Access logs, such as app usage status and crash reports.
  • In-app purchase and license status within the Service (*).
    • In-app purchases are processed via the App Store provided by Apple Inc., and we do not directly collect or retain your credit card information.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the Service and its features (including providing cloud-based data storage, synchronization, and sharing features).
  • To provide features such as widgets and Apple Watch integration (data is transferred locally to each device or widget area to provide these features).
  • To manage premium features and license status.
  • To improve the Service, develop new features, and analyze usage status.
  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
  • To investigate and prevent unauthorized use, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Use of Third-Party Services
To provide features and improve user convenience, the Service utilizes the following third-party services to store and process user data. The handling of data is subject to the privacy policy of each service provider.

(1) Cloud Synchronization and Backup

  • iCloud (e.g., Key-Value Storage): We use services provided by Apple Inc. to store and synchronize lightweight settings data associated with your Apple ID.
  • Firebase (e.g., Firestore): We use services provided by Google LLC to store user data, synchronize data across multiple devices, and deliver data sharing features between users. Such data may be stored and processed on servers located outside of Japan.

(2) Analytics and Quality Improvement For quality improvement and troubleshooting, we may use tools such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect usage status and crash logs in a manner that does not directly identify individuals.

4. Third-Party Disclosure
We will not provide collected personal information to any third party without obtaining the user’s prior consent, except in the following cases:

  • When required by law.
  • When necessary to protect human life, body, or property.
  • When providing information to payment processing providers for payment processing.
  • When outsourcing data processing to service providers (e.g., cloud service providers) to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

5. Data Export
The Service provides a feature that allows users to export their log data and other information to external destinations in formats such as CSV files. We are not responsible for the privacy protection or management of data exported or shared through the user’s own actions.

6. Notes on User Sharing Features
The Service provides features that allow users to share data they have created with other users (e.g., sharing features using invitation codes).

  • Shared data will be available for viewing and use by the designated recipient users.
  • Users shall manage the scope of sharing and the recipients at their own responsibility.
  • If information used for sharing, such as an invitation code, becomes known to a third party, the data may be shared with unintended parties.
  • We cannot directly control the management status of data disclosed to third parties by the user through the sharing feature.
  • When using the sharing feature, users should only share content that they are comfortable disclosing to third parties.

7. Access, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information
Users may request access to, correction, addition, or deletion of their personal information held by us.

  • Data created within the Service can be deleted through operations within the app.
  • If you wish to completely delete your account information and all data stored on the cloud (such as Firebase), please use the data deletion feature within the app or contact our inquiry desk below.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may amend this Policy as necessary due to legal revisions or changes in Service specifications. In the event of significant changes, we will notify users through in-app notifications or by posting on our website.
